MEDICAL FAIR ASIA – 13th edition goes DIGITAL

The 13th edition of MEDICAL FAIR ASIA goes digital for the first time on Wednesday, 9 December. As the region’s most established medical and healthcare exhibition since 1997, the move to an online edition will ensure you stay connected to a global marketplace.

Over 10 days you can access some of the latest medical and healthcare products from 320 companies from 35 countries; from pandemic solutions, robotic rehabilitation devices to smart care sensors for seniors. You will also have access to 100+ hours of content from over 60 local and international speakers who will be presenting a range of topics from healthcare delivery in the COVID-19 era, how the pandemic has changed the healthcare landscape, opportunities and challenges facing MedTech companies in Southeast Asia, to telemedicine – a bubble or the future?

OPENING DAY

Dr Tan See Leng, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Manpower, Second Minister for Trade and Industry will be making a welcome speech to officially open MEDICAL FAIR ASIA 2020, followed by welcome speeches by Mr Gernot Ringling, Managing Director, Messe Düsseldorf Asia and Mr Andrew Phua, Executive Director, Singapore Tourism Board.

He is also the Special Advisor on COVID-19 Research & Innovation to the President of the European Commission.

The future of healthcare and digital transformation by Professor Shafi Ahmed is a multi-award-winning cancer surgeon working at The Royal London Hospital.

He is a member of the NHS assembly advising the government on the NHS Long Term Plan and was awarded the Future NHS Award by members of Parliament in 2018.
